Byron Latin Fiesta – 1st to 4th of November 2018

The Byron Latin Fiesta is celebrating its 13th annual festival between the 1st to 4th of November 2018.
It is a fun filled four night party that consists of Latin dance parties with live bands and performances by artists from all over the globe.
This year the fun starts with Umberto Nocita from Paris, Italy’s Manuel Cassoti and Australia’s own Juan Carlos.
It all starts with a pre-party on opening night. Then by day time dance workshops and night time parties continue for the following three days.

The main festival hub is the Byron Bay Community Centre (Byron Theatre), in the heart of town. Although, there are also other venues participating throughout the town.
If you’re arriving via Coolangatta airport, you can easily get transport from the Gold Coast airport to Byron Bay. It’s also possible to arrange an express shuttle bus service from Brisbane to Byron Bay and from Ballina airport to Byron Bay to enjoy the festivities.

Mullum Music Festival – 15th to 18th of November 2018

The beautiful village of Mullumbimby has been hosting the Mullum Music Festival since 2008. Mullumbimby sits in the Byron Shire in the hinterland (17 km from Byron Bay), surrounded by mountains and beautiful scenery.

Upcoming Byron Bay EventsThe three day event attracts people from all over the world that come to see the wide variety of performances offered at this diverse event. Everything from circus acts to aboriginal dancing can be enjoyed all day and night.  This year’s talents include the Japanese funk orchestra band Osaka Monaurail, Melbourne’s psychedelic-folk band Husky and Lee “Scratch” Perry’s student the Mad Professor, to name a few. There is also morning yoga, musical workshops and a lively street parade. UNITY EARTH Fields of Healing – 24th to 25th of November 2018

This beautiful two-day awakening event is happening in the North Byron Parklands.
Fields of Healing is a festival of bringing people together for ecological healing, intercultural healing, personal growth, and spiritual and emotional healing.
It brings together a unique community of healers, artists, musicians and inspirational leaders.
This year’s guests include shaman Angaangaq Angakkorsuaq from Greenland, musician Rocky Dawuni, Aussie and local didgeridoo legend Si Mullumby and Maori master carver Uncle Louis Kereopa.
